Management Audits

Triton HOA Services, LLC. is offering a new service to homeowner associations located in the Las Vegas valley.  Management audits are a common practice in many industries where customers demand to know that the products and services they purchase will always be supplied in a consistent and quality manner.

Homeowner associations and their boards of directors allocate a significant percentage of the homeowner assessments to the management of the association no matter what form that management takes.  Whether self-managed or managed by a professional community manager, procedures are used to execute the following processes:

• Elections
• Meetings
• Collections
• Procurement
• Financial procedures including bill payments
• Compliance
• Formation and operation of committees
• Handling of homeowner issues,
• etc. 

Some of these processes have written procedures as required by state law including elections, meetings and collections.  Other procedures are spelled out in the association's governing documents or in the management contract.  A management audit seeks to answer the following questions:

• How are each of the processes executed?
• Are the processes executed the same way each time?
• Is the community manager or management company performing all tasks required by the management contract?
• How are errors prevented and how are they handled when they occur?
